magazine ad + landing page + patient interview video = successful campaign.
This project initially began with a phone call about designing a full page magazine advertisement. Cortez Facial Plastic Surgery wanted to showcase the amazing before and after photos of a Phenol-Croton Oil Peel by Dr. Edwin Cortez. The initial plan was to run a standard full color ad in 435 Magazine.
We wanted the bulk of the ad space to showcase the photos, which speak for themselves. However, we recommended creating a landing page on their website with more information and Frequently Asked Questions about the procedure.
In addition to the landing page, they had a patient who’d been a wonderful spokesperson for the procedure, so this project grew to include a patient interview video. We brought in a videography team, hired a makeup artist for the shoot, provided supporting graphics and directed the final editing of the interview video to make sure it was professional and consistent with the CFPS branding.
By the end of the project, we had a new landing page with the video, a magazine advertisement directing patients to that landing page and video, and we printed a flyer version of the ad for in-office distribution. We used a QR code on the print items with built in tracking, so it’s possible to see how many people scan the code.
The campaign went so well office staff had a hard time keeping up with the phone calls. This project is a great example of how we can make suggestions and bounce around ideas on how to market your new product or service. Call us early; we can help direct the overall marketing plan.
